Note from Nolan's President: Patrick Nolan

Well, that didn’t go as planned.

That might be the nicest way to sum up 2020. When reflecting on historical events, I often struggle pinpointing specific years in which events occurred. “Did that happen in 2004 or 2006? I have absolutely no idea.” Call it a personal mental limitation. Something I wish I could change, but not enough that I have committed much effort to doing so.

But 2020, we will all remember you! With great clarity the events that occurred this past year will forever be scorched into our memory representing the dividing line of pre-COVID and post-COVID worlds. 2020 brought challenges and monumental changes in life that most of us never imagined would take place, let alone compressing them within a calendar year.

Thankfully, our team at Nolan has maintained good health and as we enter our 45th year in business we are focused on a bright future. While our current team won’t need the reminder of what happened in 2020, the below annual report will hopefully serve as an archive for our future team members 45 years from now who wonder, “What happened to Nolan during that pandemic?”

Thank you to all who contributed to our safety and success this year, particularly those on the front lines who kept us safe, healthy and functioning. We look forward to reuniting in person soon!
